Course Objectives:
Students will study arithmetic and geometric sequences and series, permutations, combinations, and applications of these topics. Students will learn and apply algebraic concepts to solve and analyze functions and equations. They will perform data analysis in many subject areas including biology, chemistry, physics, business, economics, and finance.

Description:
Topics in this class are designed to further explore concepts learned in Algebra II. Functions, domains, ranges, graphs, data scatter plots and curve fitting, solving equations and systems of equations, polynomial functions, rational functions, and selected other topics will be covered. Graphing calculators are used extensively. Applications are emphasized.
